Terms & conditions

A deposit of 25% per week of the total holiday rental is payable within 7 days of booking confirmation. The balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival in order that the said dates can be re advertised due to default. If payment is not received by the due dates we reserve the right to cancel the booking and you are liable for 33% of the total balance due of the rental.

A breakages deposit is to be paid in cash upon arrival of €200. This will be returned to you upon departure upon  completion of a satisfactory inspection of the property and grounds. Any necessary charges for breakages and or damages will be deducted and the balance along with any receipts will be returned upon departure. This deposit does not limit the client’s liability to the owner should this exceed the initial deposit.

The client shall report to the owner without delay broken or missing items, defects or appliance breakdowns at the start of their holiday. The client is to reimburse the owner for any damages or breakages at the property and any equipment and contents in the garden or grounds caused by negligence of anyone in their party. If the client or any member of the party is found to be using any banned or prohibited baits or methods during fishing you will be asked to leave immediately.

The property will available from 4pm on the day of arrival, prior to this, without any other agreed time of arrival with the owner access will not be permitted. The number of people to reside in the property for the duration of the rental is fixed at the time of the booking ,additions can only be made with the consent of the owners prior to arrival. The client agrees upon booking to be a considerate and responsible tenant and to take good care of the property and its surroundings and to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. Failure to do so may result in a cleaning charge of 30 Euros being deducted from the rental deposit being held. The client agrees also not to act in anyway that would cause disturbance to others.

We are not liable for any temporary defect or stoppage by public services to the property in respect of any equipment or appliances in the property or any loss, damage or injury as a result of any adverse weather or any other matter however caused. Under no circumstances shall the owner’s liability exceed the amount paid for the rental, if in the event of substantial damage to the property before the start of your holiday we reserve the right to cancel your holiday, all sums paid will be refunded by us in full. 

For electric vehicle owners, the closest charging point is in the local village of Renazé, approximately 1km away from the property.

Cancellation
Deposit is non refundable if you cancel your booking. The client is advised by us to get comprehensive travel insurance to include cancellation cover, personal effects,medical cover and public liability as these are not covered under the terms and conditions of booking at La Petite Coquais.
